Fort Adams State Park
Situated at the mouth of the Newport Harbor, Fort Adams State Park offers an exceptional panoramic view of
both Newport Harbor and the East Passage of Narragansett Bay. The park offers a wide range of activities including salt water
bathing, fishing, boating, soccer, rugby, and picnicking. Fort Adams is perhaps best known for its annual summer concerts when the Jazz Festival,
and the Folk Festival draw thousands to enjoy the music and beautiful surroundings.
Rugby and Soccer by permit only non-profit organization dedicated to the restoration of the Fort. Its volunteers and staff conduct tours of the Fort from June through October. For more information call: [401] 841-0707.
Sail Newport:
A non-profit community sailing facility offering the public sailboat instructions and rental, windsurfing instruction and rental, dry-sail storage areas and hoist operation. Sail Newport also organizes regattas and other sailing events. For more information call:

Shake a Leg:
A non-profit organization providing sailing instruction and rental of specially equipped boats for the physically challenged and their families. For information call: (401) 849-8898 or (401) 847-3630.
Museum of Yachting:
Displays centered around "Yachting in Newport - The Golden Age". A show of photographs, models, costumes, boats and yachting memorabilia from the turn of the century. Open daily from the second week of May to November 1st. Other months by appointment. For information call: (401) 847-1018.
Eisenhower House:
