East Providence East Providence Parks and Recreation presents a free Summer Concert Series at Rose Larisa Memorial Park every Thursday evening beginning at 6pm between June 23 and August 11. Enjoy an assortment of music from Swing to Motown to Funk to Hip Hop. Lawn chairs, blankets and picnics are welcome. Sponsored by Jenkins Construction, concerts will be held on July 6, 13 and 20 and feature music for kids and families.

The heavily wooded park features beautiful Brickyard Pond with areas for picnicking, as well as walking and biking trails, a baseball field and benches. Gorton Pond’s new,
handicapped accessible pier in Apponaug. The pier is one acre and features gazebos on either end. Also on the pond
