 Self Guided Event In the past 20 years the Woonsquatucket watershed has gone through an amazing transformation. In 1993, Fred Lippitt set out to transform the watershed, and has succeeded in transforming acres of land into beautiful butterfly gardens, parks, and a bike path that spans from Johnston to Waterplace park. Come enjoy what the residents of the watershed already have discovered. There is something for everyone at the Woonsquatucket River Greenway. Proof of Visit: Find the fish on a wooden pole at the 1 mile marker and report his name.
