Partnerships
Supporting the Great Outdoors Pursuit is a great way to show your company’s commitment to conservation, education and public health and will help us continue our efforts to reconnect families with the great outdoors. We need partners who can provide funding and goods and services. We offer a variety of partnerships depending on the level at which your organization is able to give. We can also offer other opportunities tailored to the needs of your company. The following is a list of available partnerships and items desired, along with partner benefits for providing the items. Funding Partners
Partners that provide donations or grants to our non-profit partner and fiscal agent, Kids First, to support program activities (an estimated budget for proposed activities and events is available upon request)
Prize Partners
Partners that provide items that represent outdoor activity or outdoor living. Examples include kayaks/canoe, camping or hiking essentials packages, outdoor adventure trips, gift certificates for outdoor gear, GPS units, fishing gear, etc. These prizes will be used to reward families who partake in the most events and to encourage participation in activities at each event. Prizes awarded to Great Outdoors Pursuit Teams at Grand Finale event:
Grand prize – items valued at $1,000 or more
First prize – items valued at $500 - $999
Second prize – items valued at $250 - $499
Third prize – items valued between $100 - $249
Miscellaneous prizes – items valued under $100
Entertainment Partners
Musical entertainment for events
Children’s entertainment for events
Activity attraction for events (i.e. Rock Climbing Wall, bouncing machines, etc)
Healthy Food and Refreshments Partners
Picnic lunches for kick-off and finale events
Healthy snacks and drinks for all events
Promotional Item Partners
Partner(s) that provide give-a-ways such as toys or games that promote physical activity. These items will be provided to participating families and/or used as part of the event activity. Examples include Frisbees, sports equipment, “Nerf-like” products, indoor and outdoor games that require movement and activity.
Education and Health-Related Services Partners
Partners would provide participants with tools, merchandise, services and screenings that promote good health or environmental stewardship.
Media Advertising Partners
Partners that provide in-kind or sponsor paid advertisements in local media venues.
