Park

The entrance to Burlingame State
Park picnic area and the Kimball Sanctuary is Prosser Trail, an exit
off US Route 1 in Charlestown, RI. This very popular state
recreation area offers 50 fireplaces, toilets, drinking water, a
swimming beach and a nearby DEM boat launch for boating and fishing.

Directions from Providence:
Take Interstate
Rte. 95 South to Rte. 4 South to Rte. 1 South into Charlestown.
Turn at the Burlingame Picnic Area Sign.

ENTRANCE
FEES: As of July
1, 1988, there will be no entrance fees charged at Rhode Island
State Parks, although parking fees will be in effect at all
Rhode Island State Beaches. All fees for Picnics and other Park
Use still apply. Call Park Permit Office for further
information.
